Okay, and work. We want team members who know how to do both!

❋ Our team is full, and we’re not currently hiring. However, when we do, here’s what we look for:

  1. Full-Time Barista ($19-20/hr plus tips)

  2. Part-Time Barista ($19-20/hr plus tips)

Playground staff needs to be excited about our full mission: great coffee, matcha, and food AND art workshops, chocolate tastings, and other community events. You’ll need to be able to tell customers about all of them with genuine enthusiasm.

In return, we’ll support you without micromanaging, offer organized processes and clear goals, and reward you with extra bonuses and freebies when the shop has a good month. We’re all in this together, and the Playground Owner/Founder is a veteran C-suite member with decades of experience running successful businesses with happy teams.

  • Have at least a year of experience as a barista

  • Are great with people

  • Know how to work well with a team to achieve a goal

  • Get excited about supporting local artists

  • Think a free chocolate tasting or art workshop sounds like heaven 

  • Want a work home where you feel appreciated
